Our Vintage Elm Console comes to us from China, where it was handcrafted sometime in the late 19th century. Salvaged from the northern part of the country, this sturdy table was originally used as a sideboard in a family home for serving food and wine. Once covered in a lacquered paint, it has been stripped back to its natural unfinished wood. A true handmade artifact, each one is completely unique, with scratches and imperfections consistent with its age and use.
