To New Yorkers, “Upstate” is defined as the areas surrounding the Hudson River, the Catskills and the woodlands above the Capital Region. Being just a few hours drive from Manhattan, many look to the area for a second haven outside of the metropolis in the quietude of nature. Lisa Przystup partnered with award-winning photographer Sarah Elliott to share the rustic charm of twelve interiors in Upstate: Living Spaces with Space to Live. Inspired by the process of remodeling her second home in Delhi, New York, Przystup highlights homes with both beautiful and meaningful design that capture personal touches and offer unique structural details. All of the homes date from the 1800s and range from rustic and cozy to streamlined and minimalist, while preserving historical details and juxtaposing the perfectly timeworn with the new. Narratives about each space and its owners precede the lush photography and speak to the labor of love in restoring historical houses and the evolution of their design process. Elliott’s inviting images spotlight distinctive touches like a childhood bed frame used in the guest bedroom, vintage hairbrushes laid out on a wooden shelf, a cheeky Royal Family mug collection and a porch lined with an array of one-of-a-kind rocking chairs. Return Policy

Non-furniture Merchandise
Return non-furniture items purchased on our website within 30 days of original delivery for a full refund. We will inspect the returned item(s) and issue a refund to the same credit card used for original purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed your credit. All shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.


In-stock Furniture Items

We accept returns of furniture in its original condition when you contact us within 14 days of receiving your item. To receive a full refund, call us at 800.472.1885 or email us at returns@jaysonhome.com. We will arrange to have the item(s) picked up by a local freight company, who will contact you to coordinate pick up. Once returned to our warehouse, we will inspect your item(s) and issue a refund accordingly. Damage or other conditional issues may require deductions from your refund. All shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
