Around here, we’re no strangers to breaking beautiful things. (With a shop full of them, it’s bound to happen now and then!) While a chipped piece of Astier de Villatte dinnerware is always a little heartbreaking, we’re learning that it’s not such a bad thing when you’ve got one of our Kintsugi Kits around. For those who don’t know, kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of mending broken pottery, rooted in the philosophy that an item’s imperfections should be celebrated as part of its history. In this process, cracks are filled with a special lacquer known as urushi, which is then dusted with a gold powder to highlight rather than hide the repair. This endlessly useful kit comes with all the tools you need to fix your own damaged pieces, including a link to helpful self-paced tutorials to guide you as you go. Perfect for giving new life to family heirlooms, wedding china and that vase you just can’t bear to part with, our Kintsugi Kit might even make you want to break something, just so you have an excuse to put it back together better than ever!

Furniture/Large Items

  • LOADING DOCK DELIVERY — Your order will be shipped to a local warehouse or receiving agent. Access to a loading dock is required. Arrives in 1-2 weeks.
  • FRONT DOOR DELIVERY — Your order will be shipped to a local delivery company, who will contact you to set up delivery. They will leave your wrapped order at the first dry/secure area. Arrives in 1-2 weeks.
  • WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY — Your order will be shipped to a local delivery company, who will contact you to set up delivery. They will unwarp, inspect, assemble and place your item in your home. Arrives in 2-3 weeks.

Return Policy

Non-furniture Merchandise
Return non-furniture items purchased on our website within 30 days of original delivery for a full refund. We will inspect the returned item(s) and issue a refund to the same credit card used for original purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed your credit. All shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.


In-stock Furniture Items

We accept returns of furniture in its original condition when you contact us within 14 days of receiving your item. To receive a full refund, call us at 800.472.1885 or email us at returns@jaysonhome.com. We will arrange to have the item(s) picked up by a local freight company, who will contact you to coordinate pick up. Once returned to our warehouse, we will inspect your item(s) and issue a refund accordingly. Damage or other conditional issues may require deductions from your refund. All shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
