For over fifty years, Joel Meyerowitz has captured spontaneous moments in parks and cities all over the world. His photographic career began when he left an art directorial position at an ad agency and turned his camera to the streets of his hometown of New York City, and he was an early adopter of color film technology. Originally published in 1983, Joel Meyerowitz: Wild Flowers gets a refreshing update in this new edition with a larger format and additional previously unpublished images. Through his career spanning from the 60's, Meyerowitz noticed during edits that flowers were a recurring motif in his work that acted as supporting actors in the slices of life he captured. Wild Flowers is a unique take on the role of flowers in our daily lives, with images that embody brightness and joie de vivre to somberness and the end of life. Florals are found in the urban environment as well as unexpected places like a rose tattoo or a floral print textile in a home — pieces of nature based in both reality and reproduction. From a bold arrangement at a parade to a cluster of floral dresses on a spring day in Paris, Wild Flowers depicts the way that, in Meyerowitz's own words, "We're all embroidered into this tapestry, into this bouquet of life".

  • FRONT DOOR DELIVERY — Your order will be shipped to a local delivery company, who will contact you to set up delivery. They will leave your wrapped order at the first dry/secure area. Arrives in 1-2 weeks.
  • WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY — Your order will be shipped to a local delivery company, who will contact you to set up delivery. They will unwarp, inspect, assemble and place your item in your home. Arrives in 2-3 weeks.

Return Policy

Non-furniture Merchandise
Return non-furniture items purchased on our website within 30 days of original delivery for a full refund. We will inspect the returned item(s) and issue a refund to the same credit card used for original purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed your credit. All shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.


In-stock Furniture Items

We accept returns of furniture in its original condition when you contact us within 14 days of receiving your item. To receive a full refund, call us at 800.472.1885 or email us at returns@jaysonhome.com. We will arrange to have the item(s) picked up by a local freight company, who will contact you to coordinate pick up. Once returned to our warehouse, we will inspect your item(s) and issue a refund accordingly. Damage or other conditional issues may require deductions from your refund.
