This striking piece was reimagined from a mid-century era photograph of a rust-colored quartz crystal, which we came across while leafing through stacks of curious aged pages at a Paris flea market. We were instantly mesmerized by the mysterious beauty, hand-scrawled captions and strikingly simple composition of this vintage snapshot — and then, upon closer inspection, even more delighted to find that it was originally used to classify a specimen from some unknown French gemologist’s collection. Once back home in Chicago, we made this image our own by upping its scale for a bit of extra drama. The result is a high-quality giclée print that combines the old-school cool of that original photo with a fresh, modern feel. All other non-furniture items can be returned for a full refund, as long as they are returned within either 30 days of purchase if bought in store or 30 days after the order was received if bought on our website.
