Product info

Pairing 19th century pottery design with charming antique detail, the Burgundy Butterfly Plate looks lovely mixed in with almost any serveware collection. This dish comes to us from renowned ceramicist Astier de Villatte’s historic Paris workshop, housed in what was once the atelier of Napoleon’s own silversmith. There, it was handcrafted from black terracotta clay following old-school methods passed down for generations. Along with the brand’s milky white glaze, this one-of-a-kind piece is finished with pretty scalloped edges and a vintage illustration of a delicate butterfly, taken from celebrated designer John Derian’s expansive collection of images and calligraphy. A wonderfully unique addition to any tabletop, it would also make a thoughtful gift for anyone going through a time of transformation as a symbol of change.

  • WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY — Your order will be shipped to a local delivery company, who will contact you to set up delivery. They will unwarp, inspect, assemble and place your item in your home. Arrives in 2-3 weeks.

Return Policy

Non-furniture Merchandise
Return non-furniture items purchased on our website within 30 days of original delivery for a full refund. We will inspect the returned item(s) and issue a refund to the same credit card used for original purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed your credit. All shipping charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.


In-stock Furniture Items

We accept returns of furniture in its original condition when you contact us within 14 days of receiving your item. We will arrange to have the item(s) picked up by a local freight company, who will contact you to coordinate pick up. Once returned to our warehouse, we will inspect your item(s) and issue a refund accordingly. Damage or other conditional issues may require deductions from your refund.
