Aptly named for the Arabic for "traditional," our Beldi Tagine was handmade in Marrakesh by local artisans following time-honored methods. The result? A stunningly simple stoneware serving dish that is perfect for brining a global feel to any space. While tagines are customarily used for cooking and serving a traditional slow-simmered North African stew, we recommend that our minimalistic Beldi's use with food be limited, due to its porous, unglazed nature. But with a form this good, who cares about function? We think it would make a striking addition to the sideboard or centerpiece, especially when paired with our Beldi Footed Plates.
