Our beautiful Indonesian Fabric Panels are handmade using traditional dye-resist techniques. The patterns are created by hand-stamping or hand-drawing wax on raw, premium quality or "cap cent" cotton fabric. When the cloth is dyed, the wax-covered area resists the dye. When the fabric is dry, it's boiled to remove the wax. This process is repeated until the artist's desired design is achieved. The panels include hemmed or selveged edges and some are pieced for additional length.
