Founded nearly seventy years ago by a circle of photographers, Aperture is a celebration of photography, designed to inspire creative people everywhere. Each issue of this quarterly journal is filled with photo collections and portfolios from current and historical artists alike, as well as illuminating interviews, profiles and thematic articles. Guest edited by Tilda Swinton, this issue is inspired by Virginia Woolf’s Orlando, with a look back at the author’s life and the 1988 film adaptation of the novel, as well as a diverse collection of works that each explore gender, identity, openness and curiosity in their own uniquely beautiful and personal ways. A must-have for creatives of any medium.
