Add a touch of organic texture to your space with our Suva Baskets. Handcrafted on the island of Borneo, each of these net baskets is woven from lightweight yet sturdy rattan. A customary Southeast Asian design used for toting produce or fish, the basket’s looped edge would traditionally be threaded with string, allowing its opening to be tightened and closed while also creating carrying straps. Today, these natural beauties make themselves useful in other ways. Perfect as storage vessels around the house or as cachepots for leafy houseplants, we especially love them paired with our vintage-inspired lighting kit to create Suva Pendants. Great as a single, we think they really shine in multiples hung at varying heights. True handmade treasures, no two are exactly alike.
