Soap Stones
Soap Stones
These soaps rock. We fell in love with these handmade glycerin soaps immediately and would be happy waking up to them – pretty much forever. A husband-and-wife design team who met at the Yale School of Architecture created them in their Brooklyn studio, where each one is poured and hand cut. Not a bad resume for a bar of soap. The striking colors, ranging from rose quartz to jade to onyx, are as invigorating as the scents, which come from essential oils like eucalyptus and camphor. But it's their unique shape that appeals to our soft spot for rocks and gemstones. Two sizes include a smaller stone that makes a great guest soap or the perfect indulgence to bring along on your next out-of-town trip. Or pick up the larger one for the bath, put on a little Sly & the Family Stone and rock out while you clean up. Then rinse and repeat.
